DAY 2, Monday - Arrive in Santiago
Welcome to Chile! Morning arrival in the energetic capital city of Santiago; transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 5:30 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 2:30 PM

DAY 3, Tuesday - City Tour of Santiago
This morning's city tour takes you through the colonial neighborhoods of the city, which contrasts the modern financial center known as Sanhattan. Pass by the beautiful residences that are part of the Barrio Universitario (University Area). In the historic center, view the lively Plaza de Armas and its fountains. The tour continues with a drive along the green Parque Forestal with the stunning Fine Arts Museum. Cross through the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista and climb up San Cristóbal Hill to a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the city against the backdrop of the Andes Mountains. Leisure time this afternoon to explore the city on your own, or perhaps join the optional tour of Santa Rita winery, where you will learn about the history of Chilean wine-making, walk through lush vineyards and historic "bodegas," and taste award-winning vintages

DAY 4, Wednesday - Santiago to Mendoza
Depart today for a long drive on the dazzling scenic route from Santiago to Mendoza in Argentina. Stop en route for views of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, lying within the Aconcagua Provincial Park in the province of Mendoza. Unlike other Andean peaks, this mountain does not sit on the international border and lies completely within Argentina. A box lunch will be provided en route. After crossing the border, arrive in Mendoza for leisure time this evening

DAY 5, Thursday - Mendoza Wineries
This morning, visit Bodegas Krontiras, an organic and biodynamic winery focused on the harmony between plants, animals, and the environment. Learn about compost, natural wines, and sustainability, and sample the fine wines in the cellar. Continue to Norton Vineyards where you will have the opportunity to be an oenologist for a day and create your own wine. This recreational activity allows you to blend wine, combining varieties and discovering aromas, textures, and complexity. After, proceed to Bodega Dante Robino, a family-run winery committed to the production of wine of the highest quality. Tour the vineyard and visit the cellar. Enjoy a light lunch of empanadas along with tastings of wine while admiring the views of the Cordon del Plata Mountains. Later, drive back to the hotel. Spend your evening at leisure, or perhaps join the optional tour Dinner and Wine Pairing in Mendoza. Afterward, visit an olive oil production plant and learn more about the origin and health benefits of this rich and natural food. Discover the city's highlights this morning on a tour that includes the Plaza de Mayo, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Casa Rosada (government palace). View the balcony where Eva and Juan Peron made their speeches. Continue to the colorful La Boca neighborhood, a working class barrio, and the old quarters of San Telmo and Caminito, a mix of colonial style homes, narrow lanes, artists' lofts, and trendy cafes. Drive to the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of many of the wealthiest and most important Argentine historical figures. The grounds here cover more than four city blocks, filled with over 6,400 mausoleums, including the tomb of Eva "Evita" Peron. DAY 11, Wednesday - Argentinean Falls
Your adventure continues this morning on the Argentinean side of the Falls. A rail car takes you to the top of the Falls on the Upper Circuit,* and you will walk to the Lower Circuit where the power of nature surrounds you. Continue along the catwalks to Devil's Gorge - stand in amazement as you gaze at "Devil's Throat," the most magnificent of all the cataracts. View, photograph, and feel the spray of the thundering waters, one of nature's most impressive achievements and a unique experience for your senses. Spend the rest of the day exploring the natural treasures of Iguazu National Park, designated a World Heritage Site for its rare and endangered flora and fauna
*In order to access the falls, you are required to walk over uneven surfaces, followed by a series of narrow boardwalk paths. The paths feature many sets of stairs and can be slippery due to the mist.

DAY 12, Thursday - Brazilian Falls, Flight to Rio de Janeiro
Walk along the winding pathways on the Brazilian side of the awe-inspiring Falls, one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Iguassu consists of over 275 separate cataracts across a span of two and one-half miles, wider than Victoria Falls, higher than Niagara Falls, and more dramatic than both. Stand in awe at the unforgettable panoramic views. Continue to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro, the vivacious "sun and fun" capital of South America. Tonight is at leisure

DAY 13, Friday - Rio de Janeiro, Tour of Corcovado Mountain
Awake this morning in amazing Rio. Begin the day with an ascent by a scenic cog railway to the summit of Corcovado Hill. Here, at 2,400 feet above the city stands the 125 foot tall statue of Christ the Redeemer. The Christ statue, that embraces the entire city, is designated as one of the seven New Wonders of the World. See the thrilling 360 degree sweeping view of the city and understand why Rio is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Afterward, continue along Rio's famous beaches, including Copacabana and Ipanema before returning to your hotel

DAY 14, Saturday - Full Day in Rio de Janeiro
Today is at leisure to discover the delights of Rio on your own. Watch the volleyball and soccer matches on the beach, shop for local crafts, and linger at a waterfront café. Perhaps, join the optional not-to-be-missed glass cable car ride that takes you to the top of the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain, symbol of the city, where you'll see the stunning panorama of the beaches, Corcovado Mountain, downtown Rio, and Guanabara Bay. Visit one of the top Samba schools in the city and learn what made the Samba & Carnival icons of Brazilian national identity.
